Come See the Difference!

Toddlertime has been educating children since 1980 but we don’t rest on our laurels. We strive to get better at what we do every single year. We understand that picking a preschool program for your child is an important and individual decision. To make sure we are the right fit, we invite you to come meet us, learn about our curriculum, our philosophy and to meet our teachers (22 of them are New Canaan parents just like you). While we strongly suggest that you visit while the children and teachers are present, but if you are unable to come during the day, we are happy to offer you an evening or weekend tour.

What People Are Saying About Us

  • Our twin girls started at Toddlertime when they were 18mo in the summer camp program. As we near the completion of the 3’s program, we enthusiastically wait for another fun summer of camp before we head into our 4th year. The time spent at Toddlertime has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and always happy to assist in any situation. They are well qualified teachers who have a gentle and caring, yet affirmative approach to their students. I would recommend Toddlertime to any parent who wanted a well-rounded educational beginning for their child as well as a fun and joyful experience.

  • Toddlertime was such a nurturing place for my children to attend preschool. They always enjoyed going to school every day with the fabulous staff welcoming them with their friendly dispositions. Since they are now in elementary school, I’ve seen just how much they learned during their time at Toddlertime, and they were beyond prepared for kindergarten. We loved the consistency of the schedules, the varied activities offered and the constant communication to parents. We were so sad to leave and will always have fond memories of our time there that went by all too quickly.

  • We want to thank you all for such a fantastic summer camp experience. You all put your heart and soul into the program, and it certainly shows.

  • Words cannot express how much we have loved our time at this school. My daughter is constantly coming home full of excitement over something new she learned in class that day. The teaching staff is creative, fun and truly care about their students. I feel so fortunate to have found such a caring, nurturing environment.

  • I just wanted to write to say how much my daughter, Giuliana, enjoyed Toddlertime camp this summer. IT was her first time being dropped off and she absolutely adored that camp. She still talks about playing dress-up, the car wash, and how much she loved her teacher, Miss Marie. Had I known how much she would love it I would have signed her up for more than two weeks! She keeps asking if she can go back! I just wanted to thank you and your staff for making her first experience away from home so positive and welcoming!

  • I just wanted to send you a note to say thank you to you and the rest of your staff for helping to make Nicholas’s first day go as well as we could expect. I am thrilled with the way that you handled his separation difficulties – from having extra staff members on hand to assist the children during a difficult time to thinking of “out of the box” distractions. Having Nicholas meet Bandit and go on the playground were both brilliant ideas on how to distract him. Nicholas had evidently gathered some acorns on the playground and put them in his backpack, and he was SO PROUD of them and played with them for a good half hour after we got home. I feel completely secure that he is in good hands, and I know he is going to love school once he gets into the routine.

  • Thank you so much for welcoming us with such sincerity and warmth today. As a new 2’s parent and mom whose first time it was at the rodeo, your reassurance and kindness were music to my/my husband’s ears. Thank you so much to you and everyone at Toddlertime for all the effort you put into all you do for our children. As a ten-year classroom teacher, I totally appreciate and understand the behind the scenes prep and care that goes into each synchronized moment!
