I just wanted to send you a note to say thank you to you and the rest of your staff for helping to make Nicholas’s first day go as well as we could expect. I am thrilled with the way that you handled his separation difficulties – from having extra staff members on hand to assist the children during a difficult time to thinking of “out of the box” distractions. Having Nicholas meet Bandit and go on the playground were both brilliant ideas on how to distract him. Nicholas had evidently gathered some acorns on the playground and put them in his backpack, and he was SO PROUD of them and played with them for a good half hour after we got home. I feel completely secure that he is in good hands, and I know he is going to love school once he gets into the routine.
